You do not have to become a member of congregation beth israel to attend our youth education program, although membership is strongly encouraged and welcomed. We offer a great variety of fun activities: Campers will also learn about their jewish heritage through evening programs, arts and crafts projects, and a variety of optional activities including theater, puppetry, photography, music, and israeli folk dancing.
Each Trip Is Filled With New Places, Lasting Friendships, And Fun, Immersive Jewish Experiences.

Camp stein’s scholarship funds are generated almost exclusively by the generous gifts of members of congregation beth israel. Thanks to the generosity of the jewish federation, greene family camp, and our members who have donated to rabbi charlie's discretionary fund, we have over $10,000 available to help our young people attend these amazing summer experiences. Summer Is A Time For Numerous Children’s Activities.
Our mission is simple, teaching positive values and traditions, physical, social, and emotional growth for every child. Highlights include 3 nights at lake anna campground (bunk house) and a trip to kings dominion. On usy summer programs, teens don't just learn about judaism, they live it, from relaxing with friends on shabbat to eating.
