Marlin Camp 9 Problems. Well after two shots when i pulled the trigger, it didn't release the hammer, no tension to the pull at all. These guns are more plinkers than target rifles.
They were made by marlin in the mid/late 80's thru the 90's or so, and one i wish they would bring it back. The one real issue with them to be aware of is that the original bolt buffers dry out over time. All parts listed in this category are specific to the marlin camp 9 & camp 45 rifles made post 2009 unless otherwise noted.

The trigger will only moves a couple millimeters, as though something is not right. I bought a beater 9mm marlin camp carbine, gutted and rebuilt it. Yes, i gutted and rebuilt a colt trooper iii, but this carbine is a very simple design.
I Have Owned Other Marlins And Worked On A Couple Others And The Few Marlins I Have Seen Had Accuracy Problems (This 9Mm And A Couple Of Lever Action Center Fires).
Shooting overpowered loads (not designed for self defense ammo) had blown the gas block and piston. Now has the retractable stock on it. The 45 camp quit on me.
